About Us

Enrollment Services Division at the University of Arkansas is comprised of Academic Scholarships, Admissions, Financial Aid, Orientation, the Office of Nationally Competitive Awards, Registrar, and UAConnect. Growth in the student body has continued to trend upward, both in terms of overall enrollment and overall academic quality. In 2023, the University welcomed a record 32,140 students. The first-time, full-time freshman cohort increased to 6,336. Diversity grew to 22.7% in overall enrollment. Over half of the freshman class were Arkansans, a continuing trend that has seen in-state student enrollment grow 30% since 2009.

In addition to joining the largest class to date, students in the fall 2023 cohort demonstrated increased academic preparedness across the board. In key measurements, the number of students enrolling with a 3.75 GPA or higher increased 101% between 2009 and 2018. Students enrolling with an ACT of 30 or higher increased 136% for the same period. Given these increases, the number of students eligible to participate in the Honors College (3.75 GPA/28 ACT minimum) correspondingly increased 101%.
